Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intermediate Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour Day Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required License: Active license required upon start Certifications: NIH Stroke Scale, ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - Prior travel experience is required - Charge responsibility is required - Charge experience preferred - Cerner experience preferred Description: The position involves caring for a mix of medical-surgical, telemetry, cardiac, neuro, and CVA patients. The unit aims to follow a schedule of 2 out of 3 weekends per month but may not always be able to do so based on unit needs. The patient population includes individuals with varying acuity levels. IVs will be offered with limited requested time off. The facility reserves the right to cancel assignments up to 36 hours in advance due to census needs. All team members, including travelers, are expected to contribute to a culture of support, particularly when interacting with students and new hires. Floating to other units is not required.
